  • Is the Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Hospital Würzburg, Germany.
  • Earned his doctorate in 2000 with a thesis on non-invasive myocardial characterization during heart surgeries in children
  • Held various significant positions, including Senior and Chief Senior Physician at the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf and Visiting Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA.
  • Received numerous awards, including the Coolidge Award, Eugen-Graetz-Award, Lauterbur Award, and the Röntgenring of the German Society of Radiology
